Franz Bernhard is one of the most renowned German sculptors of his time and came to international fame through his large-scale sculptures in public spaces. One major focus of his work is the human being, whereby he varies the amorphous forms and reduces them to a few elements.

Franz Bernhard zählt zu den renommiertesten deutschen Bildhauern seiner Zeit und erlangte vor allem durch seine Großplastiken im öffentlichen Raum internationale Berühmtheit. Ein zentraler Ausgangspunkt seiner Werke ist dabei der Mensch, wobei er ihn auf wenige amorphe Elemente reduziert.
